Fast Forward

Fast Forward is a four to five year school-work transition program designed and delivered in partnership with local industry. With a focus on skills-based programming, students have the opportunity to obtain experience in the workplace before leaving secondary school, meet the entry-level requirements of specific industries, and develop practical and employable skills. in the four to five year program students earn recognized industry certifications along with their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC), or Certificate of Accomplishment.

    Glenview Park Secondary School (Cambridge)
    Grand River Collegiate Institute (Kitchener)
    Jacob Hespeler Secondary School (Cambridge)
    Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate & Vocational School (Kitchener)
    Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School (Waterloo)

 

This is a highly successful program and as a result was expanded to include 2 adin September 2006; Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener and Jacob Hespeler Secondary School in Cambridge.
